  2. Dr. Kathie Mathis has over 25 years of administrative and mental health experience. She has been responsible for administration, board development, staff development, public relations, funding development, program development and volunteer development. She is also an international motivational speaker and trainer. During her career, Kathie has developed and introduced national models in mentoring, abuse prevention and school-based stop bullying programs. She also author books, wrote monthly columns for magazines and newspapers. Dr. Mathis is a state, national, and international advocate meeting with legislators in Washington D.C. and California. She has testified before the California State Senate/Assembly and met with California’s judicial Council, promoting legislation and safety measures for victims of abuse. Dr. Mathis has received a great deal of awards, including: Woman of the year 2005 and 2009/2010, Professional Woman’s Who’s Who; a special award from President Bush for her work in domestic violence, Congress and Senate acknowledgments.

$15 for Members/$20 for Non-Members of CAAMP

Certificates will be emailed at the end of each meeting, after the presentation has concluded.

Refunds
In case you have paid but are unable to attend or plan to not attend, please contact Liron Gabbay, Board Treasurer, at (818) 208-0518.  If Liron is unable to answer your call, please leave a message and she will return your call as soon as possible.  If you have paid via PayPal, per PayPal regulations, you have 60 days from the date of payment to obtain a reimbursement, so please contact us within that time frame.  We do not offer a refund if you attend the meeting.

Course meets the qualifications for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for LMFT’s, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

CAAMP is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for MFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and/or LEPs.  CAAMP maintains responsibility for the program/course and its content.
